Okay... looks like this sucker is going to cause problems in the Gulf of Mexico and western caribbean. So, does NCL have a "back-up" plan for ports in the line of storms?

Saturday we're leaving on NCL Majesty to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Key West. But it appears these ports may be affected by http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/grap...546.shtml?5day.

So, what should we plan on?

I wouldn't worry about it. Gamma is still only a tropical depression and they aren't predicting that it will become anything much more than a tropical storm. At this time, it is not probable that it will affect the US and does not appear that it will affect any of your ports. Even if this scenario were to change - cruise lines always have contigency plans and you would either skip a port or re-route to another.

Looks like Gamma is back in play... and we leave tomorrow. NCL shows our ship going on the west coast of Cuba to go to Grand Cayman.

Do you think NCL would redirect our ship to go around the east side of Cuba to avoid the storm?

We'll be on the Majesty leaving out of Charleston.
