A heartwarming story for pet lovers can be found here . Indeed, NCL gets a lot of abuse but they deserve a lot of applause for this act of kindness.

You would think that if the parents of Snickers could afford a 48ft. sailing vessel they could afford a little rescue mission for the pooch. If you were marooned on an island it would be great to have a cocker spaniel as a companion. Just think, all Tom Hanks had was a deflated volleyball. "Wilson!!!"
Oh yeah, hats off to NCL. I am sure they will get some PETA award this year.

I thought the same thing. Even if I couldn't afford a 48 foot catamaran, if my dog was stuck on an island I'd figure out a way to get him or her back - cost be damned. They abandoned the animals, it seems.
