Cabin Categories

After reading lots of advice on this board, my fiance and I booked a balcony cabin on the Pride of Aloha for our honeymoon this summer. Now that our cabin has been assigned, I noticed there are different categories of balcony staterooms, and that we are in the very last category. Could anyone tell me what the differences are between those categories? For the difference we paid in price from inside to balcony, I want to make sure it was worth the $$. Thanks!

Hello Lovetoplan! Typically, the balcony differences are in the deck that it is located on. The lower the deck the less the price, similar to having a penthouse at the top of an apartment building vs. one lower on the same building. Also, balcony square footage on either the back or front of a ship will also make it more expensive. You can't go wrong with a balcony at any level of the ship though. Personally, I think it was a smart upgrade for you and you will be very pleased you did! Happy Honeymoon and Happy cruising!
