Norwegian Star

I called NCL today after reading several reviews that the Star, the ship used for Norwegian's 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise, had mechanical problems that prevented it from sailing to Acapulco and Ixtapa. According to the agent, the ship will be in dry dock in March to fix the problem. Beginning in April, the ship will be making its scheduled stops, including Acapulco and Ixtapa. This includes (wipe sweat off brow) my cruise beginning on April 2nd.

I think you may be on the first or second cruise after the drydock. A friend of mine had her cruise cancelled due to the drydocking! Had to switch cruise lines because they already had their air tickets.
