Hurricane - should I be worried?

Hi Cortney.

I think you'll be okay. You'll probably be at sea when Fiona is in the area of Bermuda, which is Sunday the 5th. I assume you're at sea that day. Then it should move out. According to the Weather Channel it's supposed to continue to weaken, so if anything, you'll probably have an altered arrival time in Bermuda on Monday.

We leave out of NYC 9/4. We don't get to Bermuda until 9/7 (Wed)...

Cortney, 9/4 or 9/5? I thought Dawn left on Sundays. In any case, the latest NCL update shows that she will return from her current Bermuda cruise on schedule.

Oops, sorry. I have my dates all goofed up. We're driving to Newark tomorrow, 9/4. Taking car to NYC 9/5, which is when we set sail. Get to Bermuda on Wednesday...

You should be fine. By the time you set sail, Fiona will be well out of the path between New York and Bermuda.

Agreed 100%!!! Once you get close to the bridge, go to an upper deck... be sure to stay there until you've gone under it. A thrilling start to a cruise.
