Tipping for room service - Norwegian Star

Is room service considered part of the $10 per day service charge? Is it expected to tip the person delivering room service food? If so, is this in cash?

GuyB, yes, you should tip for room service using cash. The servers are sensitive to the tips and if you tip generously during the first couple of days you will have a great cruise!

Thanks Tom. We'll do that. On previous cruises we've never used room service, but we have a balcony for the first time, so I'm sure we'll use it this time (next week!).

Take 50-100 $1's with you to tip room service, porters, taxi drivers, etc. Also, you can use them to haggle with local vendors...
