was reading about the 7% increase, just wondering if they can increase the price if we paided for our cruise in full aleady, we leave April 11th, 13 days on the Jewel, so excited

True, yet that possibility was agreed to at the time of booking. As far as base cruise fare, there will be no surprises. Enjoy your short countdown, Wendy!
Just seen your comments about pricing. We just got off a Norwegian cruise and it was the worst we ever had. It was on the Jewel and out of six cruises we had been on it was the worst. Be prepared for extra charges on everything you do. They automatically charge you an extra 18% gratuity on everthing you do or purchase. Even if you walk to the bar and order a $5 bottle of water, there is an additional 18% added. The money pit begins once your on board.

well besides the extra cost that most ppl are aware of ahead of time, I just want to know what you thought of the Jewel thats what were going on for 13 days, so would like feedback on your take of this ship.

I was on the Jewel when it was Brand new and had a wonderful time....I've been on the Pearl twice since and it's basically the same ship...My brother just got off the Jewel last week and said it was a great time...any cruise is better than no cruise at all.....Heading to the Epic soon....just got off the Oasis and need to compare the two...Happy Sailing...
Wendy, we were on the Sky last July and had a marvelous time. The ship was immaculate, the food was good, and the crew was friendly as could be. Can't wait to get on the Epic in October. This will be my 5th NCL cruise. I was not disappointed in my first 4 and doubt I will be on #5.
I was on the Jewel last month. I think the ship is very nice. It is similar to the Spirit class Carnivals. The wait service is not the best we have had but other than that it was nice.
