Apparent Death Aboard Norwegian Epic

CruiseMates is reporting an apparent passenger death aboard Norwegian Epic last night, which required the ship to return to Miami. Miami-Dade police and FBI boarded the ship, and reports from passengers are that a body was removed by the coroner, and the ship left port again around 3am this morning.

According to this report in the Miami Herald, a 21 year passenger may have died from an allergic reaction to something he ate.

An FBI spokeswoman just told the Miami CBS affiliate that a man aboard the ship had a fatal allergic reaction at sea and died before it could reach port.
