Would you buy Art on a Cruise?

Recent Toronto paper had a full story about Art auctions on ships and on NCL in particular.It is growing and will get bigger-captive market-and Renoirs,Van Gohs are appearing.Would you purchase good art on a ship?

There are art auctions on costa ships like Costa Mediterranea or Costa Magica too. But I also won´t buy one of those pictures on board.

Buying Art on a cruise ship is just like buying jewelry in the islands. You should check out prices at home to know if your getting a good deal or not. There is no tax on the ship on the art unless your from the state of Michigan. Which is where the art dealer Park West Ave is based out of.

That is absolutly correct. But if you find a peice of art that you just have to have you should check some prices in one of their internet cafes(if they have one) and if it is a decent price go for it! Because if they have a Van Goh that would be sweet to have.
