Just checking in to see if any one else is booked for the NCL-Sun on 1/28/2006. And any tips/suggestions about the ship? This will be our fifth cruise but I hate finding the best spots on the last day!!

I'm not sailing on the Sun this month, but I was on her last month. My favorite lounge aboard the Sun is the Windjammer's Bar. Just next door is the Cigar Room, my second favorite place on board. Both are just aft of the Dazzle's Disco, and all three places are on Deck 6. You're just a short walk from the Promenade Deck.
Since the Sun is on a different itinerary from last month, I will not be much help with what to do off the Sun.
Enjoy your cruise. The Sun is a beautiful ship to spend a week or so aboard.

Have you received your luggage tags?
I'm still confused about where to pick them up at the pier.
I really hope we don't have to wait in line to check in with our luggage in-tow.

Our favorite place from all ships is the Oberservation Lounge on the Sun, a wonderful place during the day when weather is not so good, or to have a cocktail before dinner.
It has a wonderful view to the front with big panoramic windows.
And if you like you can go outside.

The porters should have luggage tags. If your cruise documents are pier pick-up there usually is a separate desk for that. Quit fretting so much, it's not as difficult as your worrying about. Everything will work out.

Thanks to everyone for the great tips. Only two days till the warth of the Sun!! We will check out the Windjammer bar, the Observation lounge and Shelly & Westley. We have already received our luggage tags but like Cruise Fanatic said everything will be fine. This is our 5th cruise and we have always have a fast, easy check in and was on the ship in no time. I am sure the porters will know where the luggage tags are and will help you find them if needed. Everyone has been helpful to us in the past.

2/10/06 Just an update.
Not problem with the tags: poter had blank tags at the pier; just needed our room number.
Best cruise out of four (4) we have been on!
