Disembarkation question on NCL pride of America

Hi
Do we need to carry passports for the NCL pride of america cruises. I would think not since it is a cruise which is restricted to only the Hawaii islands and it does not touch any foreign country. Would appreciate it to hear experiences from any one who has done the cruise

Hi Raj,
I went on the pride of aloha, and no you do not need a passport, only a driver's license or any other govt. ID if you don't have a driver's license. I asked travelocity , who I booked through and they insisted I got a passport. SO I did, and they never once asked me for it. OH well, at least I have a passport now if I need to go anywhere out of the country, so my efforts were not a total loss. You will have a great time there. I am going back in May 2007. I cannot wait. Have fun.

If you live in the USA, you will not need a passport to sail exclusively in Hawaiian seas.
