Hi I am takin my first cruise on the NCL Star. I have been assigned Deck 8 with a balcony, however when I look at the pics of the ship, it looks like it is a window and not a balcony. I paid for the upgrade and the category is now BD. It looks different than the balconies on the 9th and higher decks. Does any one know if it is the same? It is category BD/The category above is BC. Also the room is about 6 away from the lifeboats. Will that be a problem. Thanks.
