how do i bring water on board... if i can

My husband and I will be cruising for the 1st time 8/23/08 to 8/31/08 on the Spirit. We are looking forward to this experience however I am curious as to if we are allowed to bring water bottles on board upon boarding. Can I bring a case of water with me upon boarding or can I just pack a few water bottles?

Your best bet is to just take a couple of bottles and then refill them as needed from the buffet. The ship's water is cleaner and tastes better than any you could bring.

I agree with f-mattox that there's no need to take a whole case of water since you can refill bottles with perfectly good water on board. However, I did notice a young man who was embarking the same time we were in March who carried a whole case of water under his arm at check in - actually put it on the counter as he was signing in, and then just carried it with him onboard.
