Norwegian Spirit

I've taken an Alasakan cruise on the Spirit in 2004. It was a great vacation. What in particular about the Spirit do you want to know?

It's a beautiful ship with Asian decor. The size of the Spirit's cabins is average in the NCL fleet, not having the smallest nor the largest cabins. The crew was hard working, and will meet most of your requests with an ever present smile on their faces.

Where is the Spirit going on July 3rd?

We sailed on Spirit last february. I was worried because I had read some bad reviews, however all of us were very happy with the cruise to southern caribbean as well as the ship, food, entertainment, and staff. We had a wonderful time. The only exception was that some of the lobby desk staff were a bit rude. A little hint is to go to Le Bistro (extra charge) and if you like chocolate,have the fruit chocolate fondue for dessert. Delicious!!

I love the Spirit. Sailed her last year at this time http://www.cruisereviews.com/Norwegi...anSpirit14.htm and now leaving again in two days. She is beautiful. I have read many very positive reviews- everyone posting on Cruisecritic that has sailed in the last two months has been very pleased.

Go, have fun. The ship is nice. There are pros and cons to this ship, but I haven't heard of one that's perfect yet. If you have the chance to sail off and leave the real world behind do it! What some people like about the ship others don't like. It is what it is; convenient port for many, inexpensive, and an escape!
