Is there a place on board the Star to purchase alcohol (beer, wine, liquor) to drink in our cabin after hours or if my husband and I want to have a bottle of wine on the balcony? I'm a bit confused by what I read on the website.

Thanks in advance!!

We bought a "helmets" of beer and always had beer in our fridge. If you buy wine in a restaurant and do not finish it then they will keep it for you to drink at another time. I would imagine that they would allow you to take it to the cabin, or deliver it. I am sure you would be able to buy wine at the wine bar and also consume it in the cabin. Any liquor purchased it the duty free store would obviously be kept by the staff until the last night, not sure if any of the bars would sell you a whole bottle of liquor but I donít see why not. It would be quite expensive I guess. I hope others can give you more definitive answers. Do not forget you could order a "bar set up" before you go and in any event the fridge is stocked with miniatures of liquor, also bottles of beer and wine.

CHENCE,
You can always order a bottle of wine from Room Service to have delivered in the room. I do that because I like to sit out on the Balcony and have a glass. The price for a bottle was not bad at all. Hope you get to see a lot of wild life in Alaska !!

Chence -Fear Not!!!!! There is a self service, reasonably sized stock of various liquor choices and mixes contained within Your room refrigerator.....It will be kept restocked by your cabin steward!!!
