baby sitting on the Wind

Hi, my husband, I and my 1 year old daughter are about to embark on our 1st cruise on the Wind for a 10 day tour of Hawaii. I have been told by NCL that babysitting services are for 2yrs & up and there is no private babysitting- my daughter is 1 - do you know if they are flexible on the rules - my daughter is a very easy 1 year old and would do fine in group babysitting .. or do you know if there are people on the staff that are willing to do private babysitting? thx in advance for your help.
