The Norway was in a class of her own when it came to dealing with rough weather and seas.
I spent a few years on aircraft carriers and the Norway rode quite the same. But then they had a lot in common - deep draft, lots of underwater mass, and length.
I agree that the "Norway" was a seaboat par excellance! There are quite a few modern ships, however, that are also excellent seaboats, such as RCI's "Voyager"-class ships.
