Norwegian "Breakaway Plus" ship announced

Norwegian took the cruise industry by surprise today by announcing a new ship, and perhaps two, called "Breakaway Plus". Press Release and image.

They just keep on building them ever larger.....eventually they will be adding airfields, turnpikes and people movers......drive- thru dining experiences may not be too far behind!! How I miss cruising on the older ships such as the Vera Cruz at only 9500 Tons!
Just because the ship is larger does not make it better or assure a better quality cruise!!!

Couldn't agree more, BillyBuzzy; one of my favorite ships was the original Sun Princess/Spirit of London--17,000 tons . . . and I thought that was huge at the time.
