Norwegian Cruise Lines has announced that the Norwegian Pearl will be hosting "The Best Country Cruise, Ever" in January 12, 2014 aboard the Norwegian Pearl. Featuring Entertainment by such stars as Montomery Gentry, Winona, Trace Adkins, Lonestar and others it will feature at least two concerts by each headliner with at least a hundred concerts thruout the cruise. It sounds like a happening and it follows a similar highly successful cruise in 2012!!

Reason: typo and receipt of more info
Quite surprisingly, the Norwegian Pearl is under consecutive charters for two straight months next year, starting with the subject cruise and continuing to mid-March with various other country, rock and roll, and other music and affinity cruises. This is unusual but then it makes sense since the ship can be outfitted for various music stage shows and they can just leave the hardware in place.
Some of this has to do with Norwegian buying Sixthman Productions, which is a key player in the charter cruise business.
Norwegian Pearl also has music charters at various times this year, so it seems it is the 'designated charter ship'. I wonder what the crew thinks about it?
Yes, the gratuities are usually required to be pre-paid and non-refundable so that is good for the crew. I was thinking they might get burned out with 9 weeks of charters. Of course, Norwegian is saving money by not having to have their own bands and performers aboard.
