Pride of America Upgrades

We are scheduled for a cruise on the POA on April 11. Is there any chance for an upgrade once we get there? I have heard from folks on other cruise lines say that you should go to Customer Service as soon as you check in to see if you can get an upgrade. I know one couple that received an upgrade to a suite for a total of $200 on Celebrity. Thanks!

Sorry I can't answere your question , but I would like to know that myself . I am going out on POA in mid May. Also if you would be so kind as to come back here and post your thoughts on the ship / cruise / and the must see's . have fun and enjoy the cruise.

Hi ennisv and Tectop, welcome to Cruise-Chat. You might be able to receive an upgrade if there is a cabin available. I wouldn't count on it, though. Normally, all ships sail at full capacity. They will usually put up a sign at the purser's desk that will say whether the ship is full or not. You can stop by there once on board. It is very rare, but who knows, you might just get lucky.
