Star to be Based in Tampa !

I read that the NCL Star is going to be based in Tampa. What is the general opinion of this ship?

I think the Star is a very nice ship, sailed on her twice (2005 & 2009). She will do fine in Tampa. Will be interested in hearing about the changes made to her when she leaves dry dock in a week or so. Hope they didn't move the Blue Lagoon.

The NCL Star will do a typical Exotic Western of Belize, Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

I hope the Star will still do the Panama Canal....I plan on sailing on her for a 15 day on Jan. 1, 2011....

Yes, The Star is still scheduled for Panama. It isn't going to Tampa until October 2011.

I feel like booking a cruise for next week....too much snow and cold here....oh, I just got back from the Oasis....:-)
