Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone knows or could tell me how to find out -- what pier the Norwegian Gem would be at for the March 2010 cruises from New York to Florida and Bahamas.

I'm looking to book something like that but we'd need to fly in -- and I'm wondering about the Newark Airport and what kind of transfers I'd be looking at to get to port.

Thanks
Judy

According to this site, N. Gem will be using the Manhattan piers through December 2009. I don't recall when the schedules have been updated in the past for the following year, but as NCL typically cruises from Manhattan, this pier is more likely. But, you never know.

Thanks so much LisaP

I have never been to the New York area. Do you know how long of a transfer it is from the Newark New Jersey airport to the cruiseport in Manhattan? -- I'm wondering if we'd need to stay the night before in Manhattan -- pricey -- or in New Jersey -- a little more reasonable.

Thanks again

NCL departs from the 52nd Street Cruise Passenger Terminal in NYC. It is an easy access terminal from outside Manhattan. However, NYC is an adventure by itself and full of affordable things to do! A trip to your favorite bookseller will give you some great ideas- Manhattan can be quite affordable!

And....there is no hassle getting to the ship on cruiseday!

Bon Voyage,

The actual address is 711 12th Ave and 55th Street. It is close to the Intrepid Museum. A taxi from New Jersey is approximately $25 subject to change.
