We typically cruise in February to escape the horrid Michigan winters, but suddenly yesterday, my husband told me he'd been also eyeing a September Bermuda cruise on the NCL Dawn out of New York. We love that port because we can drive to it! Any thoughts on the Dawn or Bermuda at that time of year?
Thanks!

Whoops, I did it again Penny, Sorry, I keep hitting edit when I mean to hit reply. Once again I didn't edit your message, just wanted to reply to it.
Hey Penny, Having spent a good amount of my life in Michigan, I can say Michigan isn't bad in September. Especially when you get those nice Indian Summer's and the beautiful leaves are changing.
Bermuda should be nice in September though. Maybe not as hot, as when I went in the month of August. Which was a little too hot! So September may be perfect.
September is a lovely time to go. The air and water temperatures are still very comfortable (keeping in mind that we come from similar climates), and the crowds are fewer. It is also a fabulous time to visit NYC...I've done so for business almost every year around that time.
I would go in a heartbeat if my husband's work schedule permitted.
I wasn't trying to "dis" Michigan. I have some very dear friends that live there. It's just that, well, I much prefer the pink and white sands of Bermuda to the pavement of Michigan. Just kidding, y'all, don't shoot me
