Lot's of interesting things there, Dave. I notice the "horrible" Epic will sail from Barcelona in 2011. I think it's time to consider taking a cruise as a passenger and start saving

Me too The Epic is like driving by a car accident - you just have to look
Europe is getting more and more cruise alternatives every year. Even from Oslo, RCCL has several 5,7 and 9 day cruises this coming season.
We're curious about N. Epic, also. We are also very excited about more Europe cruises, in general, and are presently researching options for 2011.
I do wish, however, that the Boston-Bermuda cruises left on a weekend, as they had for nearly 15 years, rather than a Friday. Taking off six days of work for a seven-night cruise doesn't make sense to me. (I suppose I could still make it into the office on Friday morning, though, but what fun is it to be on your last night of a cruise knowing you will be at work soon after docking early the next morning?)
LisaP- Have you considered taking the Acela Express to NYC??? Thence a quick cab from Penn Sta. to the pier!! NCL ships to Bermuda pull out on Sundays!!! I'm doing same in Oct. 2011!!!
Thanks for the suggestion, billybuzzy. We've cruised out of NYC before... wonderful experiences. Yet, we're just a few miles away from the cruise terminal in Boston, so it's so much easier.
BTW, I'll be in NYC on business next week. At least this time, if I get a room with a view of the cruise terminal, there won't be any ships there to make me jealous.
