Last year we stay on the Gem and I can tel you I was surprise about the service
even include my flight which I not book by them.
The airline lose our luggage but NCL did everything to help us, provide us immediately with luxury makeup kits and vouchers for cleaning our clothes free of charge, keep us all the time inform about our luggage and even get it the same day of embarkation on board and deliver before dinner to our cabin.

Hi Nedstar,

We had a similar experience on our first ever cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun. The airline lost our luggage and we didn't get it until the first port, 3 days later. The staff on board helped us with everything they could. That sold us on Norwegian and we've cruised them 3 times since.
