Hi-be prepared to be exhausted. Ports far from sites, very exhausting, would have preffered a longer cruise, so that we had more time-but had a blast. Would not do it again by boat.

Looks like I will be contacting my travel agent, seems NCL is offering some new goodies such as onboard credits up to 250.00 depending on what cabin you book, I will see if she can get me in on the new deal, since my final payment has not been sent yet, I should qualify for the credits.....

Warrior, sounds like you got a great deal, which could become an even better deal. Congrats!

Most cruise lines do allow travel agents to take over bookings that a passenger made directly with the cruise line. It's a win-win situation, as the cruise lines prefer that travel agents handle the bookings, questions that come up, changes, etc. And the passenger gets personalized service that includes the kind of air package advice and purchase that you got, perks that may come up after deposit, etc.

The competition is so great for bookings. I truly wish I could afford to go on more.

That is really a shame and hopefully not a common problem. I've always felt the Passport Office was one government agency that was pretty decent to work with.

Will they automatically expedite the processing of the new passport for you?

Warriorking, I feel your pain. My last name is 4 count them 4 letters long, on my first passport they managed to misspell my last name. I could have understood my real first name, but 4 letters, please.

Basically you have to send in the incorrect passport, along with the correction form, and an official copy of your birth certificate which of course they neglected to send back as well, so I must pay an additional $12 to get another, if you want it moved along faster you must pay $65 for them to hurry it along, since my cruise is not till january I still have plenty of time, it took a month for them to process the first one, hopefully this will take less time, if not I still have a good window....
