Has anyone been on the P of A in 2009 yet? All the posts I have found are older and we are going to Hawaii next summer. Just would like a current summary of the ship and its crew. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on the POA in January. The ship was very nice & clean. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful when asked! Also the food was very good. Was it the nicest ship I have ever been on, NO but it was a nice ship and we would go on it again! We certainly saw no evidence of all the negative posts that I have read about.

I have been hearing good reports on the POA. If your cruise isn't until summer 2010 it could be a whole different crew though.

I just got back 2 weeks ago from the POA. I could not find 1 thing to write a negitive post about, the food. crew, ship, everything was great . My wife and I are already thinking about booking again. go for it, you will love it .

I am happy to hear all of these good reports about the POA. Looking at them it would appear NCL has turned things around from where they were just a year or so ago.

Moving two of the three ships that were in Hawaii helped.
