Hi everyone,
I was just enjoying my morning cup of coffee and watching Good Morning America. They were onboard the Norwegian Jewel and toured one of the Garden Villas. WOW!!!! If I have the opportunity to sail on the Jewel, that's the place I want to hang my hat. It was certainly nicer than any Owner's Suite I have seen.

the Garden Villas are very, very nice, indeed. However, they are not as nice as those on "Norwegian Star" and "Norwegian Dawn", IMHO. And I really disliked the fact that even these highest accommodation levels feature a plastic floor outdoors with no teakwood found anywhere (not counting the furniture). "Norwegian Jewel" is a teak-free ship.
Roaul, not having toured the ship yet (other than my brief view via the TV show) I appreciate your opinion. Teakwood does certainly add something to the sensory experience on a ship.
As point of clarification, it was actually a Courtyard Villa, not a Garden Villa, that was featured in the Good Morning America segment (Just wanted to keep the facts straight).
Gary, cruise prices are always figured per person. The price of the Garden Villa may vary slightly, depending on the time of year you're considering. A travel agent could give you the information, or you could try calling NCL yourself.
