Majesty Upgrade

I just upgraded to an Oceanview in the Bow of the ship--801 directly behind the bridge. I hope we don't regret it! I know that cruising to Bermuda can be rough waters. Hopefullly, since we are all the way up on deck 8, it won't be too bad! Anyone out there had any experience with these cabins?

Define "just upgraded". That could explain why your e-docs haven't arrived.

If the seas are calm anywhere on the ship is fine. Many people feel that the lower decks are smoother in rough seas, since you are closer to the waterline.

You should have had e-docs on your previous cabin before now. I've not cruised with NCL in a while but surely it isn't standard policy to wait until 10 days before the cruise to send them out.

So you booked directly with NCL? If I didn't see anything today in my inbox, I'd call them back and ask.

jodiroadie, check your other thread for the e-docs procedure. If they are not available, a call to NCL is in order ASAP.

As far as the cabin upgrade, you're on a great deck -- very convenient to many of the indoor and outdoor venues. Yes, it's far forward and you may feel some motion to and from Bermuda, but remember you'll be docked for half the cruise. If you start to feel any seasickness, go up two decks to the buffet and grab a couple of green apples. These have always worked for me.

FWIW, we were in a cabin forward on Deck 9 for one of our N. Majesty cruises and I'd book it again.
