As far as the cabin upgrade, you're on a great deck -- very convenient to many of the indoor and outdoor venues. Yes, it's far forward and you may feel some motion to and from Bermuda, but remember you'll be docked for half the cruise.

If you start to feel any seasickness, go up two decks to the buffet and grab a couple of green apples. These have always worked for me.
FWIW, we were in a cabin forward on Deck 9 for one of our N. Majesty cruises and I'd book it again.
