Norwegian Jade

Just booked a spring cruise on the Norwegian Jade and can't find any info or reviews. Looks like it's new or "re-newed". Anyone know about this? How big is the ship? How many passengers? It looks like it carries about 2000, but I can't tell.
Also, any feedback on NCL or the Jade?

Norwegian Jade will "debut" early next year. She is currently sailing as Pride of Hawai'i, and will be refurbished and renamed before your sailing.

She carries about 2,300 pax in her current configuration, so your estimate was spot on!

To add, during a wet dock, a casino will be added at the same location one is on the Jewel. Eventually, the Jade be a nearly exact sister to the Jewel, the one significant difference being the extra Owners suite on the top most deck it already has.

RayS Yes, the Jade is the refurbished Pride of Hawaii-now sporting a casino on Deck 6 replacing the Cat BA staterooms in that location. She is a Jewel class ship along with the Pearl and the new Gem. We enjoyed our Dawn cruise so much last year we booked the Gem for Jan 08 and are looking forward to the New York schedule of the Jade in winter/spring of 09.
