If that group cruise-to-somewhere-exotic ever materializes, it would be fun for whoever manages to go....whew! that was a mouthful...to try and guess who is who. As your story illustrates, I am sure we would all be in for some surprises. And laughs, for sure. Actually, I have seen photos of you and Nancy on a webpage somewhere, so you two couldn't play!

A "baby boomer" is the term given to the generation born between 1946-1964. Most of us who choose to use that term are, like you, in the 50+ age category. But, we like to align ourselves with the generation we are part of, rather than a specific age (it's really a vanity thing ).

A bit more about the origins of the term: the years Nancy mentioned are the post-war years when couples were reunited and the birthrate blossomed, known as the Baby Boom. I am what I like to consider an authentic boomer, born within the five year period following the end of the war.

Well anyway, thankyou madame Marita. Now I've had two good laughs. Raoul, you have a huge capacity - obviously born out of a great love -- for all things ship/cruise related. A real gift. Thanks for sharing it with us.
