AA Meetings on NCL?

I'm considering employment with NCL but the only thing that I need to know prior to pursuing the offer is do all the boats hold AA meetings that the crew can attend?

Jeff,

Of all the industries for an AA member to be in, the hospitality industry would probably be the most challenging.

The last place an alcoholic should be working would be an all-inclusive or a cruise ship. As a 25-year member of the international hospitalty industry, I can tell you that employees of the industry work many long and hard hours. For MANY....the first thing they look forward to after a long, demanding shift is to sit down with colleagues over a drink or two. In saying this, you will be exposed to temptation beyond belief.

If your health is important to you, use sound judgement and re-consider your employment options.

If you don't want to get wet...stay away from the pool.

Yeah, I realize what to expect, I spent six years in the Navy aboard Submarines and hold a BA in Commercial Recreation Management but I don't know the answer to my question.

Does anyone know the answer to my question?

You may want to contact forum member "Svein" and send him a PM. He was a ship's officer for NCL and would be the best person I can think of to ask.

There are the "Friends Of Bill W" meetings that happen on all ships for the passengers - but these are hit and miss from what I've heard, and I am not sure crew would be allowed to attend them.
