We have cruised with Carnival and RCL but this is our first with NCL. We leave at 4:00 from Charleston and wondered if any one knew how early you can board? Is 12:00-1:00 too early?

That is when you need to be there. Actually I'd show up around 11am and perhaps you would be aboard by noon.
