Hello ! This will be mine and my wifes 10 th cruise but never with the NCL. Can somebody tell me if this tour is ok and will it be much fun for my wife and 3 years old son. Is the NCL ok and do you have to dress nice for dinner and if anyone know if there is an alternative dinner on the top deck.Any fun stuff for the kids and can my 3 years old boy swim with me in the big pool or will that be a problem for other guests ? Planing to go on the 16 th January.Thank you for your answers !

It's a great itinerary. I've sailed NCL 4 times and never had any complaints. The food is good, the ships are clean, the staff is friendly, there are nice ammenities on board. You've got some great ports for snorkeling. If your son hasn't tried that before, I'll bet he'll love it. NCL is a bit more casual than most lines, but people do dress nicely for dinner. Take a look in our Caribbean Port Chat section, a little further down the page. Use your "find" feature in the upper left hand corners and type in your ports. It will pull up all the posts made about them. Maybe you'll find some tour ideas that might interest you. Best wishes!

dejan - The NCL Pearl is a truly fine ship and offers all the best amenities of NCL's trademark "Freestyle Cruising"! You will be able to pick and choose what you like to do, when you want to do it and how you like to do it! Resort Casual is the dress requirement of NCL. Please no shorts, tee shirts, jeans or flipflops for dinner unless you do the buffets. Cagney's (Steakhouse alternative} is up top - but on the Pearl you are never very far from great dining!

The Main Buffet features a wonderful children's dining area that the little ones love! A visit to the NCL Website will fill you full of info and answer all your questions!

NCL is a high quality cruiseline that consistently delivers a wonderful, relaxing cruise experience at unusually reasonable prices! Begin your NCL cruise with a smile and by the end of your cruise it will have become permanent!

Bon Voyage,

I've been on the Pearl twice and will sail on her next year again to Alaska....She is a very nice ship, with one of the best captains in the world on board....Have a great time...Happy sailing...

May be booking the Pearl for 10/24...
We have the time off and were going to be going to the Carolinas, but most of our friends up there will be gone by that time, so we're figuring another cruise (4th this year!) would certainly be relaxing....

I'd take a cruise over North Carolina any day. Not that NC isn't beautiful especially Highlands/Franklin area, but still doesn't compare to cruising!

OK..we booked yesterday...
Looking forward to our 4th cruise of the year. Have not been to the Domincan Republic or Tortola..
Used Amex points to book the cruise, so if any of you use Amex on a regular basis, this is a great way to utilize your points!!
