I have always used Extreme Elegance Limo service. They seemed to be the most reasonable and cheaper than a taxi.

SPLITTING A RIDE:
My wife and I will be travelling from Hobby to Galveston for a Royal Caribbean cruise on May 8, and returning May 15. I appears that the car service fees (with the company described in the previous post) would be cut in half with a party of four. If you are a party of two and are interested in splitting a car, please post your email here.
