If sharing a cabin with one or more persons I would suggest bringing a hanging shoe bag It is great for housing all those incidentals that take up valuable counter space (i.e. suntan lotion, hairspray, brushes, etc.), as well as avoiding clutter.

Okay, I do agree with Tom S. The three best things for me. But my husband would say a Bud Light instead.

Anyway, does the Downey Wrinkle stuff work? If so that is awesome. I have never tried it because I thought it was just a "new" thing.
Please give some info.

By the way, great question. I love to hear what others think of bringing and I never really thought to pack.

One item I didn't see mentioned is Dramamine. Non-drowsy for day and regular for night. Or some other motion-sickness medicine (although I like the Gin, vermouth, olive suggestion).

On a cruise to Hawaii in particularly rough waters, the ship for some reason or another, did not have Dramamine or any medicine like it. Instead, we were given ginger tablets. Now I swear by them. They have all the positive effects of dramamine while avoiding drowsiness, and having to take a "medicine". You should be able to find them in a health food store easily. Have a great time on your cruise!

A phone call to your credit card company letting them know where you'll be.

My last cruise my bank thought my CC was stolen so I couldnt use it... lol We had enough liquor, beer coupons and cash (for the ports) to get by

thats an excellent idea. This happened to a friend of mine and also to my son.He went to work in the Antarctic for 8 months and he used his card at the ONLY ATM machine and the bank put a hold on the his card. He didnt realize it and by the next time he needed his card it was cancelled.making things worse the bank having cancelled it could not re open it. a new one had to be issued however it takes b/w 6-8 weeks to get anything to mc murdo sound and thats during the summer months.
We all learned a lesson in our family after that !!
