Carmel and Monterey

We will be spending 3 days in San Francisco before our cruise. We plan on spending two days exploring the area and a night tour of Alcatraz. We are thinking about a bus tour of Carmel and Monterey. Most companies do a hotel pickup and drop off. The trip is 11 hours long. Has anyone taken a bus tour to Carmel and Monterey? Any Recommendations?

I can't tell you about a tour but I'm sure you'll enjoy both Carmel and Monterey. I was stationed there in the Army many years ago & the scenery is terrific & definitely worth the trip.

My wife took her mother on a Gray Line tour of Carmel and Monterey that they both raved about.
