Can anyone give me an idea on what the weather may be like the first part of OCT?

That answer would be accordning to which ports you are planning on visiting. In the Carribean, the weather is beautiful. We have been on a cruise in late September, one in October and another one in mid December. Usually that is hurricane season, but the ships normally just sail around the bad weather. In December St. Marteen and St. Thomas the weather was around 85 degrees and sunny. In December in Cozumel and Grand Cayman it was extremely warm. So just take your bathing suit and enjoy!!

That is wonderful to know that the weather is so warm in December,as my family and I will be in Cozumel. We are booked for the Celebration Dec.15-20. Thanks for the information.
