San Diego hotel

We are planning to sail out of SanDiego in November on Celebrity. Would like some info. on reasonably priced hotel, and in what area we should be looking. Will be flying into SAN, also hope to go to the Zoo or Seaworld while there, pre-cruise.

Hello. I would suggest the "Holiday Inn-On The Bay". It is basically at the cruise terminal. When we pulled into the terminal on Royal Carribean, the bow of our ship faced the hotel, which was right across the street. Most of the rooms we could see had balconies facing out over the bay. It would be my first choice for a pre/post cruise hotel. Good luck, Lil' Lori

I will second the recommendation for the Holiday Inn. It is also well located to downtown San Diego, the Gas Lamp District, Seaport Village and tons of sightweeing. The Holiday Inn is only 5 minutes from SAN, so any of the hotels in the airport area, Harbor Island or downtown San Diego will work for you.

My friend just got a great room at a great rate on priceline.com
She is staying at the new Omni hotel and she said it is in a great location and she spent about 120.00 which is good for this time of year. Have fun!!
