Mexican Riviera Dec weather

I am going on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera in earl December. Will I need to pack any rain gear or does it not rain there in the winter?

In general, you should have good weather but there is always a chance you will get rain. On our last Mexican Riviera cruise we did have one or two days of heavy overcast.

One way to get an idea of what the weather will be like is to check weather.com a day before you leave and put in the port cities. Then you can get a 10 day forecast for each city. This will give you a good idea if you need rain gear or not.

I was just in Mazatlan this last december the middle and end of december and it was pretty warm about 85. It cools off during the night but otherwise usually it is nice weather, but checking the weather would be a great idea i will be there also end of November.
