Fort Lauderdale Restaurant Tip?

prior to our cruise next week we will be in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday to celebrate my birthday.

Any recommendations where we could go to get a nice dinner?

Pier 66 Bar/Grill, Charlie's Crabs, Sea Watch, or Shooters. The Sea Watch is in north Lauderdale, right on the ocean. They have great food and the best key lime pie I've tasted. Pier 66 Bar/Grill, Charlie's and Shooters are right on the intracoastal. Great food and wonderful scenery. You can take the water taxi to all of them but Sea Watch. Sea Watch you'd have to take a cab to. It's really nice to look out over the ocean while eating. Happy birthday and have a wonderful cruise!!

I second the recomendations for Charlie's Crab and Sea Watch. Both are excellent choices and offer great ambiance. But if I had to choose, I would probably go with Charlie's Crab. Another favorite of mine is Bimini Boatyard. Happy Birthday and Happy Cruising!
