I am contemplating a trip to China in 2005. If anyone has been to this area, can you tell me if this is a REALLY GOOD place to visit? My target would be the Great Wall and the Forbidden City and possibly move on to the Terra Cotta statues in another venue. Should I take a small cruise here or join a land tour? Should I try to include the Yantze cruise after visiting Beijing? I know very little about this place and am very curious. I can spend a total of 10 days. If I do decide to go, the deciding factor would definitly be feedback. I don't want to save all year to regret the trip. I like adventure, historical, and friendly mixed with humorous fun. Don't want to be with a bunch of bland folks. Thanks in advance!! Iris
