Hi Just back from cruise on Dawn Princess. While in St Thomas we shopped. Good prices. Then it rained so we stayed on the ship. In St Maarten we took a tour to Pinel Island where we snorkeled. There is a beautiful beach there where you can swim or just enjoy the sun. Have fun!

I believe that most cruise lines offer an excursion to the rainforest in Puerto Rico. I have to warn you that it is a long bus ride away from the cruise port and along the way (coming and going) they invariably stop at some crummy tourist traps for "shopping". The rainforest itself is nothing special to see. It reminded me of a forest preserve in this country, only hot and humid.
