I heard that Bermuda has a policy with the cruise lines that does not allow entertainment on the ships while in Bermuda ports. This forces passengers to venture out at night to go to Bermuda clubs and nightspots. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

Yes, this is generally true. Bermuda lacks a nightlife scene in general. That being said, there are a couple of good discos "Blue Juice" and "The Deep". Other lively bar hotpsots that include music are: "Docksiders", "The Pickled Onion" and "The Beach". These placers pick up after 10pm.
