Food & Fun in Cabo

Will be in Cabo and are just looking for a fun beach and nearby restaurant (suitable for kids) for a few hours (not too far from the port). Any suggestions?

Grab a water taxi to Medano Beach and then set up camp whereever you like it best. There are several restaurants right next to each other and most of them are very good. Las Palmas and the restaurant right next to the Office come to mind as being excellent.

Medano Beach is the best beach, as Tom suggests. (Also the safest for swimming). I would suggest you head further up the beach (away from the tender port) from the Office a very short distance and camp in front of the Melia Hotel (just beyond Las Palmas). They have a beachside restaurant that would be great for the kids. Close to the action, but not in the thick of the party scene near the Office.

Thanks that sounds great! I was searching for the Melia Hotel - Do you know if it is the Meliá Cabo Real or the Meliá San Lucas?
