we arrived in melbourne 4 a days stop and hobart 4 a 3 day stay the only disappointing thing is that i didn't get too do very much shopping!especially in hobart because we had to leave the next day and at both of these ports I had shore excursion tours! is there anyway the iteneray can be fix to accomodate this?

I am bit confused. You mention being in Hobart for 3 days, but had to leave the next day???? I am not sure what you would like to have fixed or how you think we can help, but a cruise is just a teaser when it comes to some of the ports. You may want to consider adding a few pre or post day cruises to your plans to allow for some shopping time.

While Hobart is a fascinating place to visit, shopping is rather low on the totem pole of "must dos". Unless you are focused on specific items, I think you will find that shopping in Hobart is secondary to its researves, sanctuaries and other sites.

Just my opinion.
