Bermuda activities

Having never been to Bermuda I would love some suggestions as to what not to miss. All suggestions will be appreciated!

Cruise, Bermuda has gorgeous beaches, great shopping, wonderful golf, snorkeling and many other activities. I guess our suggestions will depend on what you like to do. Hike? Bike? Snorkel?

Bermuda is a wonderful country. They have a fast, clean and safe public bus system that goes all over the island. There is a great aquarium on the west side, as well as a maritime museum. Great shopping in Hamilton and St. George's, for things like British woolens, among others.

If you are in St George's at noon time don't miss the old British re-enactment of a town dunking in the town square. Gibb's lighthouse is nice. At the West End you can watch them making beautiful blown glass items. There are also caverns, a zoo, and a botanical garden in Bermuda. Hamilton is very historical to get a walking map and just do a walking tour. The unfinished church in Hamilton has quite a history.

I just returned from Bermuda 2 weeks ago. What a beautiful place! We were docked for 2 days in Kings Wharf. We bought a ferry/bus pass for $20.00 that was good for both days. Unlimited to the entire island. The Frog and Onion pub in King's Wharf is a great spot to have a drink and/or eat. St. George has beautiful with quite a bit of sight seeing. Be prepared to walk! Nice shops, etc. Hamilton is nice, but very pricey. However, it was fun walking around the city. Don't miss Horseshoe Beach. It is gorgeous!!!! When you arrive at the beach, walk to the left for a few hundred yards. The rocks are really cool and it is quiet in this area. Bermuda was very safe with no one bothering you to buy trinkets. You will love it!
