Hi, I'm going on a carnival cruiseto Astoria Oregon. We have to pass through the mouth of the columbia river. I was reading and it said the Columbia River is dangerous. What is it like in June?

Don't worry about it. The river is not a problem at the port of Astoria. No cruise line willingly hazards their vessels.
