Copenhagen Disembarkation

I am sailing on the Star Princess, Baltic Cruise this summer. Disembarkation is scheduled at Copenhagen, with the ship arriving at 5AM. Does anybody have experience with how smooth the disembarkation process is there? I'd like to catch a 9:30AM international flight.

That seems awfully tight to me. Even in the States I don't recommend a return flight leaving before noon. Remember the ship has to clear customs before anyone can leave, and you would need to be at the airport by 7:30 AM before a 9:30 international flight. I doubt you'd be off the ship much before 7.

I agree with the other respondent who advises against a 9:30 AM flight from Copenhagen. Copenhagen has one of the most beautiful and efficient airports that I have visited and traffic isn't a major problem because the Danes/Copenhagen have a truly great transportation system of subways, trains, and buses.

However, a 9:30 Am departure is just cutting it too close.

Hello,

An 11:40 AM flight from Copenhagen gives you lots of time to reach the Copenhagen airport from the ship.
