Transfers from LAX

We are traveling to Mexico on the Carnival Pride in December and ase wondering about transfers from LAX to the ship.

Our TA said it would be $38/person for the transfer, $17/person for Supershuttle and $25 flat rate for taxi.

Does anyone have any experience with the best way to get from LAX to the ship? The idea of not worrying about our bags makes the transfer attractive.

Also, we are arriving in LA a day early and know we'll have to meet the transfer at the airport.

We are sailing on the Vision of the Seas this Sunday 10/26. Sailed on the Pride last year and loved it. The Mermaid Grill is especially good.
Regarding the transfers. The $38 is round trip. I am taking the transfers myself, so when I get to LAX I just look for the cruise rep and they direct me to the right bus. Same thing when you get off the ship. So nice easy. When on the pride try the coctail called the Miami Vice. It is fabulous! Bon Voyage and Happy Cruising.

We are sailing the Pride 11/30 and are flying into LAX, the day before. But, we didn't buy the transfers. There are 4 of us and we thought we'd just wing it.

We made a reservation with Prime Time but found we didn't need it. Just walk out to the curb and Prime time or Supershuttle will be there for $13/person. When you get off the ship there are tons of the same vans waiting. Very easy and no need to prearrange.
